A room with a nine-meter-high ceiling was retrofitted with a baffle ceiling solution. The acoustic situation had been so unfavorable that nobody wanted to host events in it.
Erlwein Hall at Messe Dresden was intended as a venue for a range of events such as shareholder or quarterly meetings, but the acoustic situation was such that customers did not want to use it.
A ceiling solution of 288 baffle Basotect® mounted on the nine-meter-high ceiling quickly remedied the situation. Measuring 1200 mm x 900 mm and with a special look resulting from baffles that were cut at a diagonal, the custom acoustic ceiling was visually and audibly impressive. It took less than three days to mount and afterward the room was very popular for all types of meetings.
